2009 Scouting Report: Speedy defensive end who will be a significant member of Pitt[apos]s defensive line rotation... lettered last year in a reserve role...very effective with his hands and could emerge as one of the Panthers[apos] top pass rushers.
2008: Played in each game as a top reserve at defensive end...had four tackles, one sack and one forced fumble on the year...helped clinch Iowa victory with a pair of key plays on Iowa[apos]s final possession...had a two-yard sack and then, on the next play, forced a fumble that was recovered by teammate Greg Romeus with 50 seconds left.
2007: Redshirted as a true freshman.
High School: One of the most heavily recruited prospects in the Washington, D.C. area...SuperPrep and PrepStar All-American...two-year, two-way starter at defensive end and tight end at St. John[apos]s College...compiled 43 tackles, 13 tackles for losses, seven sacks and 17 quarterback hurries as a senior...also had 23 receptions for 426 yards and scored three touchdowns with two 2-point conversion receptions and one 2-point conversion run...had 50 tackles, 19.5 tackles for losses and 9.5 sacks as a junior...
