2005-06: Burkey finished fourth on the team's top-five list in the 50 backstroke...set career-best times in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.

HIGH SCHOOL: Burkey joins the Panthers from Williamsport Area High School...was a member of the two-time conference champion team (2004, 2005)...earned all-conference and won the 100 back twice...two-time all-state honoree....earned All-American consideration for the 100 Back...holds his high school's record in the 100 Back...placed sixth at states and won districts as a senior.

PERSONAL: Born Aug. 22, 1986...son of Lyndon and Jane Burkey...has one sister...an undecided major.
