2024-2025 Indoor: Appeared in three meets for the Panthers…Placed fifth in the weight throw at the Nittany Lion Challenge with 18.45m.

2023-2024 Indoor: Competed in five meets during his junior season... Had a career long weighted throw of 63' 8.25"(19.41m) at the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational and placed eighth(Feb. 9-10)... Placed second at the Nittany Lion Challenge (Jan. 13)... Posted a 12th place finish at the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships with a weight throw of 61' 10.25" (19.41m).

2023 Outdoor: Competed in nine outdoor meets for the Panthers. Amaya recorded two separate first place finishes in his outdoor campaign. The first came at Carnegie Mellon’s Track and Field Invitational where he won Hammer Throw with a score of 60.73m. His second win of the season was at the Carnegie Mellon Last Chance Meet where he scored a 62.00m in Hammer once again. Also, this season Amaya broke two personal records. The first occurred at the Carnegie Mellon Track and Field Invitational where he tallied a discus score of 39.15m to achieve eighth place. Second, at the Virginia Challenge, Amaya was able to have his best Hammer to date at 62.15m. His strong Hammer Throw would see him placing ninth in the ACC Championships which led him to compete in the NCAA East Preliminary Round where he placed thirty-third.

2022-2023 Indoor: Competed in five meets during his sophomore campaign…Posted a 19th place finish at the ACC Indoor Championships (Feb. 23-25) in the weight throw…Finished fifth in the weight throw at the Akron Invitational (Feb. 3-4) with a throw of 51’ 5.5” (15.68m)...Posted a personal record of 57’ 10.5” (17.64m) in the weight throw at the Nittany Lion Challenge (Jan. 14).

2021-2022 Indoor: Appeared in two meets during his freshman season… Had a career long weighted throw of 55’9” (16.99m) at the ACC Indoor Championships and placed 22^nd… Finished ninth in the weighted throw at the Virginia Tech Challenge (Feb. 19) with a throw of 51’8.25” (15.75m).
