Maegan Higdon is in her first season as a student assistant coach, following her career as a gymnast at the University of Pittsburgh.

While a member of the Pitt women’s gymnastics team from 2014-16, she competed on floor exercise and vault. In her freshman season, she competed on the vault at EAGL Championships and was named to the All-EAGL Scholastic Team. She set a personal best on vault at NC State with a score of 9.400 in 2015 and a career-high 9.300 on floor against New Hampshire later that season.

A native of Katy, Texas, Higdon is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in psychology and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2018.
