Elliot Hicks began his tenure with the official title of Sports Video Coordinator in December 2022, having worked with the sports video services department previously as an All-Temp from February 2021.
Hicks works with the video director and fellow department coordinators, managers and students to ensure game and practice film as well as replay needs are met for the Panthers’ Olympic sports.
A December 2020 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), Hicks holds a degree in communications media production with a minor in journalism, having worked in leadership positions with the campus television and radio stations as well as its online student newspaper.
Born in Memphis and raised in Catawissa, Pa., Hicks currently resides in Sharpsburg.

Favorite sports moment at Pitt?
Getting to see the men’s soccer team’s run to its first ever College Cup appearance in the 2020-21 NCAA tournament; due to COVID protocols the entire tournament was held in North Carolina and I was the team’s videographer for the multi-week road trip.
What is your favorite thing to do in the city of Pittsburgh?
You can’t beat catching a ballgame at PNC Park. There’s not a bad seat in the house and the view of the city is spectacular.
