Kaleb Smith joined the University of Pittsburgh Department of Athletics on October 2, 2023, as the Academic Counselor for Pitt’s Men’s and Women’s Track & Field and Cross-Country teams.
Prior to starting this role at the University of Pittsburgh, Smith spent 2018- 2022 as a student athlete at Virginia Tech. During his time at Virginia Tech, Smith received ACC Honor Roll recognition from 2019 – 2022, served as a member of the Leadership Council and was recognized as a 2022 Team Captain. He also earned multiple ALL ACC awards as a Wide Receiver and was a 2022 Burlsworth Trophy Finalist. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and finished his collegiate career as a student athlete at the University of Notre Dame.
Originally from Louisa, Virginia, Smith currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
