KJ Marshall joined the Pitt Basketball staff in August of 2024 and enters his first season on staff after finishing his playing career for the Panthers in 2023-24.
In his role with the Panthers, Marshall assists the coaching staff with practice planning, scout team preparation, skills work, and overall player development.
Marshall appeared in 25 games over three seasons at Pitt. He also played one season each at Mars Hill and Garden City Community College. A valued walk-on throughout his career, Marshall was known for bringing tremendous energy to practice and providing excellent scout team looks in game preparation.
A 2024 graduate from Pitt with a degree in criminal justice and minor in economics,
