Ryan Bohn has served the Pitt football program as an athletic trainer since the 2021 season. Bohn arrived in Pittsburgh after working the prior five seasons (2016-20) as an assistant athletic trainer for the football program at Ohio University.
He previously worked as a football clinical assistant at Indiana (2015) as well as a sports medicine intern with the football and tennis teams at Louisiana Tech (2014-15).
Bohn also boasts experience at the professional level. He was an athletic training student intern with the Buffalo Bills during the 2013 season.
Bohn is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA). He is a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). He also owns certifications in Blood Flow Restriction and Dry-Needling.
A native of Olean, N.Y., Bohn is a 2013 graduate of Daemen College, earning his bachelor’s degree in health care studies with a specialization in health and fitness. He received his master’s from Daemen in Athletic Training in 2014.
Bohn currently resides in Bloomfield with his Fiancé Erica and their Golden-doodle Jeter.

love to explore Pittsburgh’s different neighborhoods and restaurants.
Hobbies outside of work?
Anything with friends. Also many hikes and dog walks with Jeter.
