
Panthers Squeak Past New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Ricardo Greer had 21 points and nine rebounds Wednesday night in leading Pittsburgh to a 65-62 victory against the University of New Orleans.
Pittsburgh (8-3) earned its first road victory of the season, while New Orleans (3-6) has lost five of its last six games, including the last two at home.
Jarrett Lockhart added 13 points, Chris Seabrooks 11 and Donatas Zavackas 10 for Pittsburgh. Freshman point guard Brandin Knight had a season-high 11 assists.
Rickie Marlowe led UNO with a season-high 13 points. Clyde Ellis, Andre Blackmon and Desmond Baxter each had 10 points for the Privateers, with Blackmon reaching a season-high.
UNO led 33-26 at the break after making a school-record-tying seven 3-point field goals in the first half. The Panthers took the lead for good at 55-54 on Greer's tip-in with 5:39 remaining.
