Justin Clickett Earns All-America Honors

The University of Pittsburgh's Justin Clickett finished his 2004-05 indoor season earning All-America honors at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.

PITTSBURGH ? The University of Pittsburgh?s Justin Clickett could not have finished his 2004-05 indoor season much better than he did this past weekend at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. Clickett earned All-America status with his ninth-place finish in the shot put competition. Clickett?s throw of 19.05 meters earned him this honor.

The top eight athletes and the first eight Americans at the NCAA Championships earn All-America status. Clickett is the first men?s All-American for the University of Pittsburgh since 1991.

Clickett has had an impressive sophomore season, helping the men?s track and field team place third at the Big East Indoor Championships. He took the Big East shot put title, tossing 18.30 meters. Clickett also finished second in the 35-pound weight throw.
