
PITT WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TO OPEN DUCK INVITATIONAL FRIDAY

EUGENE, ORE. - The Pitt women's basketball team (4-0) will take on Utah Friday, Nov. 24 at 8 p.m. EST in the first round of the Duck Invitational, hosted by the University of Oregon.
Pitt will look to remain undefeated on the season with a win over Utah and will play either Boise State or host Oregon on Saturday. Game times will be at 8 p.m. or 10 p.m. EST in the second round.
Pitt is 1-0 all-time vs. the Utes with a 74-50 win on Dec. 1, 1984 marking the lone meeting between the teams. Utah sits at 1-2 on the year and are led by sophomore guard Morgan Warburton, who averages 18.0 points per game.
The Panthers continue to be led by sophomore Shavonte Zellous, who averages 20.3 points per contest.
