In the contest, the Panthers once again swept doubles. The No. 2 doubles team of senior Annie Davies (
Playing in the No. 1 singles spot, sophomore Kristy Borza (Beaver, Pa,/Beaver Area) recorded her fourth shutout victory of the season and second consecutive.
Davies improved to 119 career wins in the match. She is just five wins short six wins shy of owning the all-time career wins record. Davies' 59 total singles wins is third overall, while her 60 doubles victories rank fourth.
Junior Carlie Smith (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) is now five victories away from joining the 100-Victory Club, as she has 93 career wins. On the season Smith is 16-9 in singles.
