With the doubles point already decided in favor of Duquesne, Pitt's No. 3 doubles duo of junior Carlie Smith (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) and freshman Annie Piccirillo (Spring City, Pa./The Hill School) continued to play hard through a tiebreaker, earning the lone doubles win.

D'achille is currently fourth on the single-season wins lists in singles actions with 22 victories. She is just one win shy of tying Smith's third-best mark of 23 singles wins last year.
