Panthers To Host Wagner Tuesday Night

The 16th-ranked Pitt women’s basketball team (7-1) will host Wagner Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Petersen Events Center for the Panthers’ final home game before the holiday break.
Pitt has now won seven consecutive games and will be looking to improve their all-time record against the Seahawks to 2-0. Last season, Pitt defeated Wagner 85-41 in Long Island in the only meeting between the teams.
Guard Taneisha Harrison (Bowie, Md./St. John’s College) had her career-high against Wagner last season with 23 points in just 21 minutes off the bench.
Wagner enters the game with a 3-4 record and are coached by 15th-year head coach Gela Mikalauskas. Guard Andrea Reed leads the team in scoring with 13.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
