*Pitt and Duquesne met for the 28th time. The Panthers dropped their record to 19-9 all-time against the Dukes and 4-1 in the last five games. Pitt is 11-3 at home against Duquesne.
*Pitt is now 41-17 overall against opponents from the Atlantic 10 Conference.
*The Panthers are now 32-13 in the month of December under head coach Agnus Berenato.
*The loss broke Pitt’s 13-game home winning streak. The Panthers have won 23 of their last 25 games at home.
*Sophomore center Pepper Wilson continued to impress with her accuracy from the floor. Wilson was 6-of-6 shooting had a season-high 15 points, improving her clip this year to a blistering 39-of-51 (76 percent) from the floor. It was the third time this year Wilson has been perfect from the floor. She has also connected on 21 of her last 22 shots over a four-game span.
*Junior forward Chelsea Cole grabbed a career-high 21 rebounds. It was her third game in a row with at least 16 rebounds.
*Cole became the first Pitt player since 1980 to grab 21 rebounds in a game.
*Junior forward Shayla Scott had a career-high in 3-point field goals made (5), while tying a career-high in 3-point field goals attempted (9). Her 16 points pushed her into double-figures in 10-of-12 games this season.
*Wilson tied a career-high in minutes with 35.
*Junior guard Taneisha Harrison scored 17 points and has reached double-figures in all but three games this year.
