Pitt Cross Country Competes at Paul Short Invitational

Bethlehem, Pa.-- The Pitt cross country team took part in the Paul Short Invitational, Friday, running in both the men's and women's events.
The men finished 41st while competing in the gold division, while the women placed 23rd in the brown division.
Senior Joshua Christopher led the men, finishing the 8k race with a time of 25:23. Teddy Miller finished one second behind, while Vinnie DePalma, Kevin Hull and Andrew Cerrito rounded out the top five for the Panthers.
On the women's side, freshman Susannah Feinstein set the pace for the Panthers, finishing 76th overall with a time of 23:26 in the 6k run. Sophomore Emily Barno also cracked the top 100, finishing 92nd with a time of 23:33. Miya Johnson, Elesia Wilson and Stephanie Powers claimed the other top spots for the Panthers.

Both Pitt cross country teams will head back to Pittsburgh, to compete in the CMU Invitational on Saturday, October 9. The event will take place at Schenley Park
