Women's Tennis Hosts Youngstown State Today

PITTSBURGH—Pitt hosts Youngstown State at noon on Wednesday, March 30 at the Alpha Tennis and Fitness Club.

Pitt’s No. 2 pairing of freshmen Kimmy Borza and Jocelyn Lu are coming off their 10th win of the season after posting an 8-6 victory over Duquesne’s twos. Then in singles action, junior Minh Evans recorded a straight-set victory in the No. 6 slot.

Last season, the Panthers earned a hard-fought 4-3 victory over Youngstown St. on the road. Pitt won the doubles point to take the early advantage. However, it would later drop three singles matches, before claiming wins in No. 1, No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
