TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Pittsburgh tennis team (10-12) suffered a 4-0 defeat to Syracuse University on Saturday afternoon at the Big East Tournament in Tampa.
The Panthers lost on courts one and two in doubles, and then suffered defeats on courts 1-3 in singles as Syracuse advanced to the fifth place match.
The loss was the final match of the season for the Panthers. They finished the 2013 campaign with an overall record of 10-12.
