
Callie Frey Impresses on Day Two of Bulldog Invitational

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The University of Pittsburgh women’s tennis team completed their second day at the Bulldog Invitational hosted by Yale University. Competing against Brown, Pitt was led by freshman Callie Frey.
Building off her strong singles showing Friday against Yale, Frey continued her momentum into Saturday, posting victories in singles and doubles. In singles Frey tallied a 6-0, 6-1 win and teamed with senior Molly Wickman in doubles posting an 8-7 (4) result. Frey will look to finish the weekend with an unbeaten record in singles.
The Panthers will conclude their weekend at the Bulldog Invitational tomorrow against Dartmouth. After the Bulldog Invitational, selected Panthers will participate in the ITA Regional hosted by Virginia Tech.
