Richey, Ritter Cap NCAA Women's Championships

ATLANTA – Amanda Richey and Kaleigh Ritter capped off the final day of the NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships Saturday evening, taking part in the 1650 freestyle from McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.
Ritter paced the duo, earning 21st with a time of 16:11.92, besting her qualifying time of 16:12.73. placing, 45th, Richey touched with a time of 16:37.47.
The distance swimmers wrapped up the three days of competition for the Panthers. Earlier this week, Ritter crushed the school record in the 500 freestyle, posting a time of 4:41.23 to place 19th. Richey also competed in 500 freestyle, earning 56th with a time of 4:47.73. Richey took part in the 400 IM as well, placing 47th with a time of 4:18.40.
Meme Sharp earned All-America Honorable Mention honors on the 3M, also taking part of the competition on the 1M in the opening days.
