Pitt Defeated by Huskers on the Road
LINCOLN, Neb. – Three first half goals for 22nd-ranked Nebraska lifted the home team to victory, as the University of Pittsburgh women's soccer team fell to the Huskers 3-0 Sunday afternoon.
Nebraska scored back-to-back goals in the 14th and 15th minutes to jump out to a 2-0 lead and extended its lead to 3-0 with the game's final goal in the 33rd minute.
Redshirt freshman Amaia Pena made her first collegiate start in goal, allowing three goals and recording six saves. Offensively, Taylor Pryce recorded a pair of shots, both on goal.

Pitt wraps up a three-game road trip, opening ACC play at Wake Forest Sept. 15. The Panthers return home Sept. 21 to host Virginia Tech.
