- Pitt suffered a 94-60 loss to Louisville Sunday afternoon at the Petersen Events Center. The Cardinals shot a Pitt opponent season-high 63.0 percent from the field, including 53.0 percent from three-point range.
- Shamiel Stevenson scored a team-high 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field, while Parker Stewart (12) and Jared Wilson-Frame (11) also scored in double figures.
- Stewart went 3-of-6 from three-point range, marking his fifth consecutive game with two or more treys.
- Louisville used a 17-0 run late in the opening half to take control of the game and jump out to a 46-20 halftime lead.
- Pitt has started three or more freshmen in a game 18 times, including each of the past 16 contests. Freshmen have combined to make 82 starts as Marcus Carr (23), Khameron Davis (18), Parker Stewart (15), Terrell Brown (13), Shamiel Stevenson (11) and Peace Ilegomah (2) have each made starts this season.
- Pitt has dropped 17 consecutive ACC regular season contests. The Panthers last regular season conference win was an 80-66 decision over No. 17 Florida State Feb. 18, 2017.

- Pitt freshmen combine to average 38.0 points per game. The group has accounted for 59.2 percent (969-of-1638) of the team's scoring on the year.
- Parker Stewart has scored in double figures in eight of 13 ACC contests and is averaging 10.3 points per game in league play. He ranks seventh in the ACC in three-point percentage (.407) and is tied for eighth in three-point field goals (2.54 3pg.) in conference play.
- Jared Wilson-Frame is averaging 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.0 made threes per game over the past six contests. He has scored in double figures in five of the past six games.
- Terrell Brown leads the Panthers with 35 blocked shots and is tied for seventh in the ACC with 2.0 blocks per game in conference play. Steven Adams (2013) was the last Pitt freshman to lead the team in blocks. Brown has recorded two or more blocks in eight of Pitt's 13 ACC contests.
- Jared Wilson-Frame leads the team in scoring at 12.7 points per game and three-point field goals (54). He has scored in double figures 18 times and made three or more three-point field goals in a game nine times.
- Shamiel Stevenson leads the team in field goal percentage (.513) and has scored in double figures 10 times. Stevenson also leads the team with 120 rebounds on the year.
- Marcus Carr leads Pitt in minutes (759), starts (23), free throw percentage (.836), assists (110) and steals (18). He has scored in double figures 13 times and ranks ninth among ACC freshmen in scoring at 10.6 points per game.
- Parker Stewart is 49-of-124 (.395) from beyond the three-point arc and has made two or more threes in 15 of the past 21 contests. Stewart ranks second among ACC freshmen with 52 three-point field goals.
- Pitt's freshman class has accounted for 67.9 percent (538-of-792) of the team's scoring over the past 13 games. The group has 21 of Pitt's 30 double-figure scoring games in that span.
