No. 16 Pitt Returns Home for ACC Dual with Duke

PITTSBURGH—The 16th-ranked Pitt wrestling team (8-3, 1-1 ACC) returns to Fitzgerald Field House to host Duke (4-11, 0-3 ACC) Saturday afternoon. The match is slated to start at noon and will air live on ACC Network Extra.
Pitt has posted an 8-3 record in dual meets this season with seven of its 11 matches coming against nationally ranked opponents. The Panthers are 4-1 at home this season.
NOTABLES
- Mac Stout has won 13 consecutive matches and has moved to No. 10 in the InterMat rankings at 197. Stout leads the Panthers with a 16-2 record, including a 9-1 record in dual meets and a 2-0 mark against ACC opponents.
- Reece Heller, ranked at No. 14 in the InterMat rankings, is the highest ranked ACC wrestler at 184. He improved in the rankings after defeating No. 15 Dylan Fishback in last week's match at NC State. Heller enters Saturday winning nine consecutive matches, including going 2-0 in ACC duals.
- Pitt has seven individual wrestlers ranked in the top 25 in the first edition of the NCAA Coaches' Ranking.
- Pitt has four wins against Top 25 ranked opponents. The Panthers have faced seven ranked opponents in 11 duals this season.
