
Røttum Madsø Takes Beam Title with Career-High Performance

RALEIGH, N.C. – Sophomore Julie Røttum Madsø recorded a career-high 9.850 on beam to help capture her first individual event title of the season against No. 20 NC State Saturday night, but ultimately the Wolfpack captured the meet with a 196.475-193.600 victory.
Bars
Jaime Pratt impressed on bars and recorded a season-high 9.850 to pace Pitt. Faith Lerro made her season debut with a 9.775 to give the Panthers a 48.800 bars score.
Vault
Elizabeth Cesarone continued to excel on vault and notched a 9.775 while Kennedy Duke, Jah'Liyah Bedminster and Emily Todd registered 9.725s.
Floor
Emily Todd recorded a season-best 9.750 on floor, and Jordyn Ewing followed with a 9.700.
Beam
Røttum Madsø came up huge on beam with a career-best 9.850 while freshman Darbi Simcox (9.800) recorded her second straight meet with at least a 9.800 beam score. Todd capped off the night with a 9.750.
