Looking ahead to year three of the head coach Tory Verdi era, the Pitt women's basketball roster is rounding into shape as the Panthers have completed their 2025 freshman class, signing seven highly-touted recruits to aid agreements.
Highlighted by a pair of 2025 HoopGurlz ESPNW top 100 recruits in 30th-ranked (five star) Nylah Wilson and 99th-ranked (four star) Theresa Hagans, Pitt's 2025 class features numerous highly-decorated prep stars.
"We're excited to welcome this group of freshmen to Pittsburgh," said Verdi. "As we look to build upon some of our successes from last season, we're thrilled to bring in hardworking and high character pieces to add to our strong returning core. This is arguably one of the best recruiting classes in program history, and we look forward to developing these dynamic players, both on and off the court."
