Turn Back the Clock: Zellous Drops 42 Points (12/21/08)

On December 21, 2008, guard Shavonte Zellous recorded a career-high 42 points against then-No. 20 Florida. Considered one of the greatest performances in program history, Zellous shot 13-of-24 from the field, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range and 13-of-14 from the line.
Additionally, the Orlando, Fla. native, added six assists and four rebounds. Despite Zellous' career night, Pitt fell to the Gators, 90-83.
"I just take it one game at a time and play to the best of my abilities," said Zellous following her career night. "My teammates help me do that, as well as my coaching staff. I just gave it my all out there today."
