AVCA First Serve Match Times and Broadcast Information Revealed

PITTSBURGH - The AVCA has announced match times and broadcast information for the opening weekend First Serve Showcase in Lincoln, Neb. The Panthers will begin the 2025 campaign against host and 2024 National Semifinal participant Nebraska on Friday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. ET on FOX. Pitt will wrap up the weekend against Florida on Sunday, Aug. 24 at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Gators advanced to the Regional Semifinal last season and have been to 34 consecutive NCAA Tournaments.

Pitt returns 2024 AVCA National Player of the Year and recent ESPY nominee Olivia Babcock, AVCA Second Team All-American Bre Kelley and East Coast Region and All-ACC Freshman Team member, Ryla Jones for the 2025 campaign. Veterans Blaire Bayless and Haiti Tautua'a are prepped for their junior and redshirt sophomore seasons, respectively, along with newcomers Emery Dupes, Brooke Mosher, Sophia Gregoire, Marina Pezelj, Dagmar Mourits, Izzy Masten and Abbey Emch. Dalia Vírlan, Mallorie Meyer and Kiana Dinn are also ready for successful sophomore campaigns.
