
Track & Field Places 16 Student-Athletes on the All-ACC Academic Team

PITTSBURGH – Pitt Track and Field placed 16 student-athletes, 9 from the women's team and 7 from the men's team, on the 2025 Outdoor Track and Field All-ACC Academic Teams, as announced by the conference.
To be chosen, student-athletes must achieve a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in the 2025 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Winston-Salem, NC and/or the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore. during this past season.

Collectively, the women's track and field team posted a 3.51 GPA during the 2025 spring semester, with eight student-athletes, Ellen Baker, Jana Bruses, Isabella Bufalini, Ella Cook, Caleia Johnson, Natalie Koncoski, Alesia Rengle and Mackenzie Sullivan, achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA. Baker, Cook and Rengle boast 4.0 career GPAs. The men's track and field team compiled a 3.05 GPA, led by Darren McQueen Jr.'s 3.95 GPA during the spring semester.
