Panthers Prepare for ACC Championships

ATLANTA, Ga. – Pitt Swimming and Diving is set to begin action at the ACC Championships Sunday, Feb.15 through Saturday, Feb. 21. The meet will take place at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.
Women Ranked 24th Nationally
Holding an 8-2 record on the season, the Pitt women's team is 24th in the February edition of the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Division I Poll. The Panthers also ranked in the December and the January Editions.
Last Time Out
Pitt Swim and Dive turned in eight first place finishes in their final dual meet of the season against Ohio State on Saturday at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
Last ACCs
Last season in Greensboro, the Panthers set 26 school records at the ACC Championships this week at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Pitt's women earned their highest finish at ACCs since 2015, finishing eighth overall with 462 points. The men placed 10th with 456.5 points. Pitt took home a pair of bronze medals as Cam Cash finished third on platform dive and the 3-meter dive.
Diving Prepares for Competition
Pitt Diving will take the pool for the first two days of the Championship meet. After wrapping up their last dual meet of the season, all Pitt divers are now qualified for NCAA Zones, making program history for the most student-athletes to qualify for the competition.
