Pitt begins the home stretch Saturday as the Panthers host Notre Dame in a pivotal ACC game. The contest is scheduled for a 2 p.m. tipoff on the ACC Network.

The game will also be broadcast on the Panthers Radio Network (flagship 93.7 The Fan) with Bill Hillgrove (play-by-play) and Curtis Aiken (analysis) providing the commentary.

The winner of Saturday's game will take a pivotal step towards securing one of the league's 15 berths to the ACC Tournament. Five teams enter the weekend with four league wins or fewer and two of those teams will advance to ACC Tournament play. At 3-10, Notre Dame is currently in the driver's seat for the 15 seed, but a Pitt win spring the Panthers into position.

Both teams had a midweek bye but Notre Dame picked up an 89-74 win over Georgia Tech that snapped a five-game losing streak. Pitt is currently on a five-game skid with four of those contests coming against top 25 teams.

Notre Dame leads the all-time series between the two programs, 41-32, and has won each of the last two meetings between the two programs, including a contest that ended Pitt's season in the ACC Tournament a year ago.
