Pitt Heads West to Take on No. 9 Stanford in Friday Night Meet

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt Gymnastics team (1-6, 0-3 ACC) heads west to take on defending ACC Champion No. 9 Stanford (3-1, 3-0 ACC) in a Friday night meet at Maples Pavilion on Feb. 6 at 10 p.m. ET. Personal Bests Shattered Left and Right
- Multiple Panthers recorded personal bests against NC State on Sunday.
- Freshman Madi Bell stunned in her floor routine, posting a career-high 9.850.
- Makenzie Grant earned a career-high 9.800 on vault, and Layla Bobek and Lila Pileggi registered 9.775's.
Cam's Career Day!
- Camryn Chiu enjoyed the best meet of her career against NC State, recording two career highs.
- Her 9.900 on bars and beam is a personal best. She won the beam title outright and shared the bars title with Hallie Copperwheat, marking the first bars of her career.
Giunta's Giant Vault
- Olivia Giunta recorded a career-high 9.825 on vault against North Carolina.
- The score is a season best for the Panthers on the event.
- She has earned at least a 9.800 in the last three meets.
Freshman Phenoms
- Multiple freshmen had career days in Chapel Hill against the Tar Heels.
