Lorenzo Carrier Earns Multiple Midseason First Team All-America Honors

PITTSBURGH – Pitt Panther outfielder Lorenzo Carrier was named by D1Baseball and Perfect Game as a Midseason First Team All-American this afternoon.
In 27 games this season, Carrier is hitting .433 with 50 RBI, 39 hits, 38 runs scored, 13 home runs and five doubles. He has worked a nation-leading 35 walks while slugging .967 with a 1.565 OPS.
Carrier's .433 batting average leads the entire ACC.
Nationally, Carrier ranks first in walks (35), second in RBI (50) and on-base percentage (.598), third in slugging percentage (.967) and twelfth in home runs (13).
During a nine-game stretch earlier this month, Carrier went 24-for-32 (.750) with 31 RBIs, 21 runs scored, 9 home runs, 3 doubles, 2 triples and 58 total bases.
