PITTSBURGH – The Pitt Panthers (22-12, 6-9 ACC) lost their series finale with Cal (18-16, 4-11 ACC), 13-2, in seven innings on Sunday afternoon.

Caden Dulin went 2-4 with a double and a run scored as he extended his hitting streak to fourteen games. Lorenzo Carrier recorded his fourteenth multiple-hit game of the season in his 2-3 day. AJ Nessler's (1-4, HR, RBI, R) solo home run in the fifth inning was his fifth home run of the season.

Back-to-back-doubles down the third base line gave the Panthers an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. After extending his hitting streak to fourteen games, Caden Dulin scored from second on Lorenzo Carrier's seventh double of the season.

Cal responded with a pair of runs in the top of the second inning and led 2-1 through two.

The Golden Bears added runs in each of the next three innings to take a 13-1 lead in the fifth.

AJ Nessler led off the bottom of the fifth inning with an opposite field home run to left center. The Panthers loaded the bases following Nessler's solo shot but were unable to capitalize. They fell in the series finale to Cal, 13-2, in seven innings.
