Opening Spike Tickets on Sale Now

PITTSBURGH – Tickets are now on sale for the Opening Spike Classic, set for this August at the Petersen Events Center. The two-day women's college volleyball showcase will feature four of the nation's premier programs: Pitt, Wisconsin, Stanford and Kansas.
The Opening Spike Classic is organized by Playfly Sports, the sports industry's leading revenue maximization company. The event is being produced in collaboration with JMI Sports, leading media rights company and the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Pitt Athletics.
All four teams advanced to the 2025 NCAA Regional Semifinal, with Pitt and Wisconsin going on to reach the National Semifinal. Pitt and nine-time national champion Stanford also shared the 2025 ACC Championship title after a dominant conference season. Kansas is coming off a strong first year under head coach Matt Ulmer, finishing 24-11 overall with a 13-5 record in Big 12 play.
