Six Panthers Named CSC Academic All-District

PITTSBURGH – Three members of the Pitt men's track & field/cross country team and three members of the Pitt women's track & field/cross country team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025-26 Academic All-District teams.

Jaden Shelton, Darren McQueen, Jr. and Uri Arnon received the honor from the men's program, while Somiyah Braggs, Eva Baldursdottir and Jana Bruses were recognized from the women's program.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Track & Field/Cross Country teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.

To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and achieve a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA. In competition, a student-athlete must place in the top 50 at an NCAA regional in cross country or must have a top 50 regional ranking in an individual event in track & field.
