Pitt Track & Field Adds Kieran Showler-Davis as Sprints Coach

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt track and field program has announced the addition of Kieran Showler-Davis as assistant coach for sprints.
"We're thrilled to welcome Kieran Showler-Davis to the Pitt Track and Field Family as our new sprints coach," coach Webb said. "Kieran brings a proven track record of developing elite talent, from an Olympic finalist to NCAA champions, and his experience coaching at the highest levels of our sport will be an incredible asset to our sprint group. A three-time USTFCCCA Southeast Region Coach of the Year and 2025 South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Coach of the Year, Kieran has coached national champions, an Olympic 200m finalist and multiple NCAA and international medalists. Beyond his resume, he builds champions and character. We're equally excited to welcome his wife Alexandria and their son Frankie to Pittsburgh. Let's get to work."
Showler-Davis joins Pitt after six years at Carson-Newman, where he worked his way up from graduate assistant to head coach. A three-time USTFCCCA Southeast Region Coach of the Year (2022, 2023, 2026) and 2025 South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Coach of the Year, he has produced five NCAA Division II national champions and coached a 2024 Olympic 200m finalist.
As a student-athlete at Carson-Newman, the Winchester, England native earned All-American honors in the 60 meters indoors and the 100 meters outdoors, was a 2017 All-Conference selection, the SAC Champion in the 100 meter dash, and a 2011 U23 European Silver Medalist.
