Softball Places 12 on All-ACC Academic Team

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt softball team placed 12 Panthers named to the All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Undergraduates on the All-ACC Academic team must have achieved a career 3.0 GPA and a 3.0 GPA from the most recent semester, while participating in at least 50% of their team's contests; pitchers must have participated in at least 20% of their team's contests.

Alena Ball and Ahmari Braden both earned their third recognition on the All-ACC Academic Team, while Shelby Frazier and Gwen Sparks each earned their second recognition.
