Pitt Men's Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

PITTSBURGH – Head coach Jay Vidovich has announced the 2026 schedule for the Pitt men's soccer program. The fall slate consists of 16 opponents and ten home matches at Ambrose Urbanic Field.
The Panthers open regular season play hosting Maryland (Aug. 20) and Bucknell (Aug. 24) before traveling to Penn State (Aug. 28) to close out the month.
September opens with a road contest at Michigan State (Sept. 3) before Pitt returns home to host Penn (Sept. 7), open ACC play against SMU (Sept. 11) and welcome Cornell to Ambrose Urbanic Field (Sept. 15). The Panthers close out September with back-to-back ACC contests at California (Sept. 20) and versus Louisville (Sept. 25).
October opens on the road at Syracuse (Oct. 2) before Pitt returns home for a four-match homestand against Virginia Tech (Oct. 9), local rival Duquesne (Oct. 13) and North Carolina (Oct. 16). The Panthers then host Georgetown (Oct. 19) before closing the regular season with consecutive road ACC contests at Boston College (Oct. 23) and at Virginia (Oct. 30).
Pitt's televised match schedule and promotional schedule will be announced at a later date.
Pitt's 2026 schedule features eight ACC contests and a strong non-conference slate that includes programs with deep NCAA Tournament pedigrees. The Panthers will face Penn State, Maryland, Michigan State and Georgetown among their non-conference opponents, all programs with strong national reputations.
