PITTSBURGH – The Pitt men's soccer team returns to Ambrose Urbanic Field to host Virginia Tech on Friday, Oct. 9. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., with the match broadcast live on ACCNX.
OPENING KICK
- Friday's match is the 18th all-time meeting between Pitt and Virginia Tech, with the Panthers holding an 8-4-3 series edge.
- Pitt has won the last eight meetings in the series, dating back to 2019.
- The two sides last met on Sept. 28, 2024, when Pitt won 2-0 at then-No. 17 Virginia Tech.
- Pitt has won each of its last five meetings with the Hokies in Pittsburgh, most recently a 3-1 victory on Oct. 6, 2023.
