PITTSBURGH—Pitt offensive tackle Ryan Baer and linebacker Braylan Lovelace have been named to the 2027 Senior Bowl Top 300, the organization announced Thursday.
The list features 300 draft-eligible prospects from across college football. Baer and Lovelace are among 45 selections from Atlantic Coast Conference programs.
Baer enters the 2026 season as one of Pitt's most experienced players. The 6-foot-7, 330-pound offensive tackle has played in 40 career games and made 35 starts—29 at right tackle and six at left tackle. An Honorable Mention All-ACC selection each of the past two seasons, Baer was also named to the 2026 Outland Trophy preseason watch list and earned preseason All-ACC recognition from Athlon Sports and Phil Steele.
Lovelace, Pitt's most experienced returning linebacker, started all 13 games in 2025 and earned Honorable Mention All-ACC honors. He compiled 80 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, two pass breakups and one sack last season.
The Leechburg, Pa., native produced one of Pitt's defining plays of 2025 when he returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown in the Panthers' road victory over No. 16 Georgia Tech. The performance earned him ACC Linebacker of the Week honors.
In three seasons at Pitt, Lovelace has totaled 157 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, five sacks, three interceptions and three touchdowns. He has scored a defensive touchdown in each of his three collegiate seasons. Lovelace was named to the 2026 Butkus Award preseason watch list and received first-team preseason All-ACC recognition from Athlon Sports and Phil Steele.
Baer and Lovelace were also previously selected to the 2027 Shriners Children's East-West Bowl 1000.
The Senior Bowl scouting department evaluated more than 2,000 prospects from all levels of college football before finalizing the Top 300. Selection recognizes players who have demonstrated the talent and potential to compete at the NFL level.
The Top 300 is an initial evaluation and does not guarantee an invitation to the Senior Bowl. Players will continue to be evaluated throughout the season, with invitations earned through their performance and development.
