Fan Information for Thursday Night on the North Shore

PITTSBURGH – Pitt football opens ACC play Thursday night when the Panthers host Syracuse at Acrisure Stadium at 7:30 p.m. The North Shore will come to life throughout the evening with ESPN's SportsCenter On Campus, the Panther Prowl and an enhanced lineup of in-game entertainment.

Arrival on the North Shore

Fans attending Thursday night's game are encouraged to arrive on the North Shore after 4 p.m. to allow parking and traffic to clear following the Pittsburgh Pirates' afternoon game at PNC Park.

Arriving early also gives fans the opportunity to be part of ESPN's SportsCenter On Campus and the Panther Prowl ahead of kickoff.

ESPN's SportsCenter On Campus

ESPN's SportsCenter On Campus will broadcast live from outside Acrisure Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 17, beginning at 5 p.m. ET, ahead of Pitt's ACC opener against Syracuse.

Hosted by anchor Matt Barrie SportsCenter On Campus brings ESPN's flagship program to college campuses on Thursdays throughout the college football season, capturing the atmosphere, traditions and storylines surrounding that week's matchup.

Barrie will host the half-hour broadcast from the mini turf football field outside Gate A, near the corner of North Shore Drive and Art Rooney Avenue on Pittsburgh's North Shore. Analyst Chase Daniel will join Barrie on-site, while Jay Harris co-anchors from the SportsCenter studio in Bristol, Conn.

Fans are encouraged to gather on the turf field prior to 5 p.m. and join the Pitt Band and spirit squads for the live broadcast before heading into Acrisure Stadium for Thursday night's game.

Panther Prowl

The Panther Prowl is scheduled for approximately 5:15 p.m. as the Pitt Band and spirit squads help welcome the Panthers to Acrisure Stadium ahead of kickoff.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early and gather on Roc'n on Rooney to be part of the pregame celebration and ESPN's live broadcast.

Thursday Night Entertainment

Thursday's "Party on the North Shore" will feature a full night of entertainment and special moments throughout the evening.

At halftime, Acrisure Stadium will go dark as the Pitt Band takes the field in specially equipped LED light-up uniforms, creating an illuminated performance across the field.

Fireworks will also launch from the east and west rooftops of Acrisure Stadium during halftime and at select high-impact moments throughout the game.
