Adi Bianchin Named ACC Offensive Player of the Week

PITTSBURGH – Sophomore forward Adi Bianchin was named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week after stellar performances in a 2-0 week for women's soccer.
Bianchin netted five goals over two games against Ohio and Dayton. She posted her first collegiate goal Thursday against the Bobcats and added another for a brace in the game. She continued her success Sunday with her first career hat trick against Dayton.
The Oakville, Ontario native leads the Panthers in goals (5) and points (12) on the year.
Her contributions have helped Pitt to a 6-1-1 nonconference record and a four-game winning streak heading into Atlantic Coast Conference play.
Bianchin and the Panthers start ACC play at Louisville Saturday, looking to extend their unbeaten streak to seven games.
