JUNIOR (2006-07): Michele Petrasko was a 2006 Carnegie Mellon Invitational doubles winner with an 8-2 victory over CMU's Otsuka and Stankevich...posted a doubles win in the Eastern Women's Intercollegiate Tennis Championships alongside Anne Piccirillo...finished seventh in Flight D singles of the YSU Invitational...finished the season with nine victories. SOPHOMORE (2005-06): Michele Petrasko did not compete her sophomore season due to rehabilitation to her hip injury from her freshman season. FRESHMAN (2005): Began her college career with 11 victories, but a mid-season injury kept her out the remainder of the season...registered five singles wins and six doubles victories. HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Abington Heights High School where she played for Art Comstock...achieved Middle States rankings of No. 1 in doubles and No. 18 in singles...placed first in district singles and doubles competition prior to her senior year...finished scholastic career with impressive 60-7 combined record. PERSONAL: Born October 29, 1985...daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann Petrasko...has one sister, Stefanie, 21. Coach says: 'Michele will look to have her best season this year. She brings experience and leadership to the team and will provide solid depth.'
