AS A JUNIOR (2019-20): Announced her diagnosis of a Neuroendocrine Tumor of the Appendix (Appendix Cancer) on September 25, 2019... Had surgery to remove cancerous cells and made a return to the Pitt lineup on December 17, 2019 against Miami (OH)... Appeared in four games before sitting out the rest of the regular season... Posted a season-high 12 minutes, three points and two assists in her return to the lineup against Miami (OH) (12/17), a game that ESPN personality Holly Rowe surprised Nelson in the locker room pregame... Played six minutes against Cincinnati and Notre Dame and just three minutes at North Carolina.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2018-2019): Saw action in 30 games while starting in eight…averaged a career-high 6.0 points and 2.2 rebounds while shooting 38.9% from the floor... Netted a season-high 12 points and a career-high four three-pointers against New Orleans (11/9/18)… Scored in double figures a career-high six times… Made at least one three-pointer in 23 of the Panthers 31 games… Surpassed the 300 career points milestone against Wake Forest (2/28/19) and 100 career rebounds against #25 Miami (2/10/19)… Led the Panthers in three-point percentage and ranked fourth in the ACC shooting 40.4% from behind the arc while connecting on a career-best 42 triples.

AS A FRESHMAN (2017-18): Appeared in all 30 games, starting nine, including the first two of her Pitt career… Started and scored a season-high 14 points at No. 10/11 West Virginia (Dec. 7)… Recorded season highs of six rebounds and six assists against Arkansas State (Nov. 25) … Hit a season-high three 3-pointers in three games (vs. Arkansas State, Nov. 25; vs. Wisconsin, Nov. 29; at Virginia Tech, Jan. 11)... Tied for second on the team with 30 threes this season... Back-to-back double-figure scoring games (10 at Fordham, Dec. 3; 14 at No. 10/11 West Virginia, Dec. 7).

PRIOR TO PITT: Captain of the Great Britain Senior Women’s national team and led the squad to a fifth place finish at the 2016 FIBA U20 Women’s Division B European Championships in Podgorica, Montenegro… Captained Great Britain’s U18 national team in 2015… Led Oaklands College with 16.1 points per game while averaging 3.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 2016-17… 2017 Women’s Elite Academy Basketball League (WEABL) All-South First Team… Back-to-back WEABL Player of the Week… Helped Oaklands reach an undefeated season in 2014-15 and capped the campaign with the Women’s National Trophy… Named Most Valuable Player of the 2015 championship game: a 73-54 win with team highs of 19 points and nine rebounds.
