FRESHMAN (2006-07): Anna Broverman started off the season by winning the No. 4 singles bracket at the CMU Invitational...was a member of the championship doubles team in the CMU Invitational...teamed with Christie D[apos]Achille in doubles action of the 2006 Eastern Women[apos]s ITA Championships and won the consolation bracket of Flight A doubles...gave up just one point as she won the consolation bracket of the Martha Thorn Invitational Flight B singles...stepped in during the Villanova match and teamed with Carlie Smith in No. 3 doubles for a win...earned her first action of the spring in singles as the No. 6 and defeated her Carnegie Mellon opponent.
HIGH SCHOOL: Anna Broverman led George Washington to a state championship with a 12-1 record as a senior...a four-time all-conference selection...finished as the state-runner up in No. 3 singles as a freshman...earned the No.3 singles state title as a sophomore...member of the three-time conference and regional team champions... state champion in No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles as a senior...named all-state, twice...earned first place in the Kanawha County Art Show.
PERSONAL: Born on August 4, 1988...is the daughter of Carolyn and Sam Broverman and has two brothers and a sister...majoring in history of art and architecture.

'Anna is a very steady player, who is known for her consistency. She has a lot of potential and improved a lot from her experience last season. She has a strong work ethic and adds great depth.'
