BARBOURSVILLE, W.V.-The University of Pittsburgh women's tennis team won all six singles matches and claimed two of the three doubles to earn a 7-0 win over Morehead St. Pitt improved to 2-0 on the year.

Freshman Christie D'achille (Gibsonia, Pa./North Allegheny) played another close and exciting match in the No. 6 spot. D'Achille won her first set 6-1, but had the second set stolen from her, 5-7. In the deciding set, D'Achille battled to a 10-5 count for the win.

Freshmen Kristy Borza (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area) and Kim Harclerode (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) recorded 7-5 scores in the first set and held on for 6-0 and 6-1 counts, respectively, in the following sets.

In the fourth spot, senior co-captain Emily Hughes (Waynesburg, Pa./Canevin Catholic) won by a 6-2, 6-1 tally.

This match was held at Marshall as part of a three-team contest, where each team played one another once.
