Softball Announces Date For Walk-On Tryouts

PITTSBURGH—University of Pittsburgh Head Softball Coach Holly Aprile announced that the team will be holding walk-on tryouts for all interested students, on Friday, Sept. 4, 2009 at Trees Field. Those planning on participating should arrive no later than 10 a.m.
The softball staff wants those who are interested in walking-on to know that they must first stop in Fitzgerald Field House and pick up a walk-on packet. No students will be allowed to tryout without first stopping in the softball office to receive and fill out all necessary paperwork. Please make sure a coach signs the form before you leave the office. Inside the packet there will be detailed instructions on what you need to do before the tryout.
