Panthers Travel to Akron for More Fall Action

PITTSBURGH - The University of Pittsburgh softball team will travel to Akron, Ohio, Sunday, Sept. 25 to continue its fall exhibition schedule. The Panthers will take on two different teams as they are set to face off against Ohio Dominican and host team Akron.
Pitt will open the doubleheader against the Panthers at 3 p.m. and will play the Zips shortly after the conclusion of the first.
Last week's games against Saint Francis (PA) were rained out after playing just two innings. The Panthers will look to ride off of their offensive momentum from their series against Slippery Rock where they were victorious, winning both games against the Rock.
