- Junior center Kalista Walters is sixth in the country and leads the ACC with a season field goal percentage of .659 (91-of-138). She is the ACC's active career leader in field goal percentage at .573 (297-of-518).
- Redshirt junior forward Yacine Diop is three rebounds away from reaching 500 for her career. She ranks 10th among the ACC's active career leaders. This season, Diop ranks 20th in the league with 6.3 boards per game.
- Freshman guard Pika Rodriguez ranks second in the ACC with a 3-point field goal percentage of .453 (24-of-53). She ranks 13th in the league with 1.8 threes made per game this season.
- The Panthers are second in the country in total blocked shots (116), just four behind the nation's leader – William & Mary (120). Pitt leads the ACC in blocked shots per game (6.8), ranking fourth in the nation.
- Other top-three ACC rankings for Pitt include: third fewest turnovers (254) and third in field goal percentage defense (.355).
A WIN WOULD…
- Be Pitt's first ACC win of the season and snap a seven-game losing streak in ACC regular season games. Pitt's last win against an ACC opponent was Feb. 16, 2017, versus Virginia Tech at Petersen Events Center.
- Snap a three-game losing streak when playing at home against ACC opponents.
- Even the all-time series and snap a two-game losing streak against Georgia Tech. Pitt's last win against the Yellow Jackets came Jan. 18, 2015, in Atlanta.
- Be Pitt's first against Georgia Tech when playing in Pittsburgh (0-2).
LAST TIME OUT
- Pitt dropped a road contest Thursday evening, falling to Virginia Tech 89-66 at Cassell Coliseum in Blacksburg, Va.
- Three Panthers finished the night in double figures, as Pitt shot 40.7 percent from the floor, 38.0 percent from three and 77.0 percent from the free throw line.
- Redshirt junior forward Yacine Diop led all scorers, finishing with 23 points, adding six rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal. Junior center Kalista Walters and sophomore point guard Jasmine Whitney finished the game with 12 points apiece.

SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS
- Georgia Tech (12-6, 1-4 ACC) received 10 votes in the Jan. 8 edition of the USA Today Coaches' Poll. The Yellow Jackets are looking for their first win of the 2018 calendar year, after dropping three consecutive games at Syracuse (Jan. 4), vs. No. 2 Notre Dame (Jan. 7) and at NC State (Jan. 10). GT leads the ACC with a turnover margin of +5.0.
- Sophomore guard Francesca Pan leads the Yellow Jackets with 13.3 points per game, including 2.4 triples made per game. Senior forward Zaire O'Neil is GT's other double-figure scorer, contributing 10.7 points per contest, and redshirt senior forward Elo Edeferioka is the team's leading rebounder with 6.2 boards per game.
