
Panthers Ready for Wisconsin Pre-Nationals

PITTSBURGH – Cross Country is set to compete at Wisconsin Pre-Nationals, the precursor to the 2024 NCAA Cross Country National Championships, Saturday afternoon at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course in Madison.
Pitt will send 12 men and 12 women to race on Saturday, with representation in four difference races. On the women's side, Ellen Baker, Isabella Bufalini, Olivia Bufalini, Gianna Cagliola, Sadie Carey-Tharp, Ella Cook, Christina Elliott, Sarah Hurst, Winnie Incorvaia, Camy Kiser, Ava Lane, and Sienna Miller will make the trip to the Badger State.
The men send Ethan Feinstein, Ethan Fingerhut, Asa Gaspar, Quintin Gatons, Peyton Geehrer, Nolan McGinn, Thomas McMahon, Luke Miller, Sam Otis, Ethan Papa, Luke Simpson, and Finn Walsh to the team's first meet outside of the Keystone State this season.
The women's open 6k race starts at 12:20 pm. The men's open 8k race follows at 1 pm. Shortly after, the women's B 6k race, which will feature 31 teams, commences at 1:40 pm. The 27 team men's B 8k race kicks off at 2:20 pm.
An admission ticket is $20, which includes a shuttle ride, and a parking permit is $5. One parking permit is required per vehicle and an admission ticket is required for each individual riding the bus. Spectators are encouraged to purchase parking and tickets in advance. All transactions, including on-site sales, will be cashless. Fans can purchase parking and tickets HERE.

This weekend's meet will be the final regular season competition of the year. Post season competition begins on November 1st, when the Panthers travel to Cary, NC for ACC Cross Country Championships.
